Welcome to the Health Plan Chooser for CalPERS members!

Chooser allows CalPERS members to view the majority of their health plan information in one place, compare plans side-by-side and rank each plan based on personal preference.

Note: This information is for the 2007 plan year only (January 1 - December 31, 2007.)

How it Works:

For Returning Members Only:

1. Tell us About You: Chooser uses your information to calculate costs and identify available plans to help us tailor the plan comparisons for you.

2. Compare and rate plans: Review plan Costs, Doctors, Quality Ratings, Features and Services information and rate each plan using Good Fit, So-so Fit or Poor Fit or Remove Plan.

3. Print or save Results: Summary Results provide you with a rank comparison of all available plans based on your information.

(Note: To access definitions, click on underlined text. To access help text, click on Help in the upper right-hand corner of each screen. Find Your Doctor is updated at least quarterly, the remaining data annually.)
